Rebecca has been a Visual Impairment Rehabilitation Specialist (VIR) for nearly 15 years and will soon be graduating with a degree in Orientation and Mobility. Passionate and full of projects, she has been developing her entrepreneurial career since 2019 with Vision-R Inc. Certified by C.L.V.T., Rebecca is also a lecturer at the Université de Montréal and a consultant in the Quebec healthcare network. In 2021, she co-founded Hop-Go with Natja, continuing her commitment to innovation and inclusivity.
One of Rebecca's main goals is to improve the quality of life of people living with visual impairments. Surrounded by committed and concerned friends and colleagues, she relies on the Hop-Go product user panel to ensure their needs are heard and met. A phrase that reflects her approach, "Individual actions create waves of collective change," aptly captures Rebecca's vision. Dedicated and committed, she travels across Quebec, from the North Shore to Abitibi, supporting people living with visual impairments.
Despite the sometimes different realities of users in rural areas compared to those in large urban centers, the mission remains the same: it is important to meet the needs and aspirations of individuals in order to build a more inclusive and accessible world.
